Hotel Roanoke’s Fashions For Evergreens helps Roanoke Valley Families

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– Hotel Roanoke’s Fashions for Evergreens 19th year will come to a close in just two short days. Those that would like to see all the beautifully decorated trees and cast a vote for their favorite tree have until January 1st to visit Hotel Roanoke.

This Roanoke tradition has become a favorite holiday activity, but more so, the donations given while casting a vote go to the United Way of Roanoke Valley.

“United Way of Roanoke Valley has a 95 year history in this valley. Just in the last 20 years alone, we have been able to contribute 192 million dollars to helping people, so Lyndsey is just one of 1,700 families that needed assistance for permanent housing, for emergency utilities… people just need some of that emergency help to get back on track.”
– Connie Stevens, Vice President Of Communications, United Way Of Roanoke Valley
