Community Engagement Manager
United Way of Roanoke Valley seeks an experienced and dynamic staff to be part of our community impact team.
The Community Engagement Manager reports directly to the VP of Community Impact and supports the department in its effort to engage and mobilize partners, volunteers and the community to deliver on UWRV’s goal to “elevate 10,000 families to self-sufficiency by 2030.” This position provides the day to day logistics and management support for Community Impact operations, and develops and maintains relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders to engage them in United Way’s work.
Have a background in the nonprofit sector, preferably in the human service field, with minimum Associate Degree in Human Services or related field. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail, strong communication and customer service skills, and be a highly motivated problem solver. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs and comfortable using databases, social media, and web-based tools/applications Salary Range $35,000 – $38,000. Competitive benefits package.
