This group oversees the annual Resource Distribution process. After United Way partner agencies submit applications and program funding requests, volunteers organized into Program Panels review applications and recommend funding for approval by the United Way Board of Directors. As part of the work, panels conduct site visits for program review conferences with Partner Agency representatives. The Administrative Review Panel focuses on an agency's ability to responsibly manage United Way funds and is comprised mostly of Certified Public Accountants knowledgeable in examining agency audits, balance sheets, budgets, and such.
