Giving Options United Way of Roanoke Valley welcomes support in many forms. We process thousands of donations as the largest philanthropic movement in Southwestern Virginia. click here to print & mail donation Workplace campaigns at about 450 area companies reach thousands of people, while others make individual gifts. The most generous donors earn Leadership recognition. A planned giving program provides opportunities for lasting support of community change. United Way is a volunteer organization, and relies on gifts of time, expertise and willingness to serve. Underwriting and sponsorship of United Way special events also control costs.
