Sponsorship Opportunities

Companies are invited to build upon their current support of United Way of Roanoke Valley by helping to sponsor or underwrite Loaned Executives, as well as events, advertising, and other opportunities that arise.

Sponsorships are reserved only for United Way companies as a means to directly influence the success of our community mission, while favorably impacting their own bottom lines. Businesses know that by doing good, they can do well, promoting and authenticating their position to the public.

The United Way brand is valued at $34.7 billion. As a sponsor, your company gets royalty-free use of this high-impact marketing tool for external advertising, packaging and promotions, and communicating your commitment to social and community responsibility.

Marketing and Events Collaborations

United Way campaign season offers several opportunities for corporate sponsorships. Key events including Campaign Kickoff and Days of Caring, billboards, and media advertising are just some of the possibilities.

Year-round education and communication efforts provide the forum for more sustained exposure for corporate sponsors. Cash contributions, in-kind support and sharing of existing media contracts and vehicles are just some of the ways that your company can partner with Untied Way of Roanoke Valley.

Making an Investment with A Guaranteed Return

Make an investment with a guaranteed return by providing one of your highly motivated, high potential employees for the United Way Loaned Executive program. The Loaned Executive program period runs from late August to mid-November to support the annual United Way Community Campaign.

The Loaned Executive experience gives individuals enhanced leadership potential along with increased time management, presentation and networking skills. Sponsoring companies gain the benefits of a more highly trained employee, and the satisfaction of helping United Way improve our community.
