Seven Loaned Executives Join Campaign

Seven Loaned Executives have been added to the staff of United Way of Roanoke Valley to assist with the 2004 community campaign.

            Six businesses are lending extra support to the United Way campaign by providing or sponsoring individuals for a temporary assignment with the region’s largest annual philanthropic drive. The Loaned Executives work as United Way staff to help some of the region’s 450 companies that conduct workplace giving campaigns.

            These Loaned Executives are being provided by their respective companies:

Yvette Smith, Allstate Insurance Company

Lucas Snipes, Carilion Health System

United Way of Roanoke Valley also recently named Cathy Belcher to the permanent position of D evelopment Associate. She had served as a Loaned Executive in 2003. United Way of Roanoke Valley is observing its 80th anniversary of supporting health and human service programs for citizens of Roanoke, Botetourt and Craig counties, Roanoke, Salem and Vinton. The organization’s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of people in the community.
