Half of United Way Auction Funds
Earmarked for VT United in Caring

United in Caring, a fund for victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy, will receive half the proceeds from April in Paris, the April 26 gala sponsored by United Way of Roanoke Valley.                          

“There can be no other response for United Way in the face of such loss and need,” said Kathy Stockburger, UWRV Board Chair. “We are a caring community and we want our special event to be an expression of solidarity and support for the families and loved ones.”

United in Caring was set up to help families with funeral expenses, transportation, mental health services and other costs related to the tragedy.
